  • United Places Management Pty Ltd ACN 616 025 033: referred to as ‘United Places Botanic Gardens’, ‘we’, ‘us’ here onwards, operates the website www.unitedplaces.com.au ( ‘our website’).
  • By using our website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions of use and any other terms or policies published on our website from time to time (‘Terms of Use’). You must not use our website if you do not agree to these Terms of Use.

  • engage in any activity which is likely to cause interference, harm or disruption to our website, its servers, software, hardware or equipment.

Intellectual Property

  • Our website, its content, layout and design together with any trade mark, name, logo, photograph, image, code, text, data, graphic, software or other identifying mark appearing on our website (Website IP), may only be used for your personal reference, and may not otherwise be copied, reproduced, used, stored, published, altered, licensed, downloaded, or transmitted in any form or by any other means in whole or part, without the prior written consent of United Places.
  • The Website IP is the property of United Places or a third party who has contributed to our website.
  • Nothing on our website or in these Terms of Use should be construed as conferring a licence or right to use the Website IP unless the prior written consent of United Places or the necessary third party has been obtained.

Descriptions on our website

  • Every effort is made to ensure that photographs, graphic images and other content displayed on our website to illustrate the hotel provide an accurate impression of the accommodation and services offered.
  • However, the content on our website should be used as a general guide only. Variations may occur, such as changes to furniture, interior design, reasonable wear and tear and/or possible renovations.
  • We reserve the right to make changes, corrections and / or improvements to the content on our website and to the products and programmes described on our website at any time without notice.
  • It is your responsibility to stay up to date with the above amendments as and when they are published on our website.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, United Places is not liable for any errors, omissions or changes to the accommodation and services offered.

  • United Places does not warrant or guarantee that our website is accurate, correct, secure, reliable, timely, complete, adequate for any purpose or that it will remain uninterrupted or virus free.

  • United Places is not responsible for any loss or damage deriving from the use, content, products, services or security of a website operated by a third party.
  • United Places is not bound by any dealing that you may enter into with a third party. The terms and conditions of a third party website govern any dealing you may have with that third party. If there is an inconsistency between these Terms of Use and the terms and conditions of a third party website, these Terms of Use will apply.
  • The linking of third party websites to our website or the linking of our website on third party websites is prohibited without express written consent of United Places.

 

Browsing

  • Our website is not configured to collect any identifiable personal information from you while browsing. Our website collects information for general statistical purposes only.

Arrival/Departure

  • Check-in time: 2pm.
  • Check-out time: 11am.
  • Luggage storage services available at the Reception.
  • Requests for early check in and/or late checkout are subject to availability and must be communicated to United Places at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled check in or check out (as applicable).United Places may approve a request for early check in in or late check-out at its absolute discretion. Applicable day charges or an additional night’s fee may apply.

 

Deposit and payment

  • 50% deposit is required at the time of booking or 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date if booked further in advance.
  • The remaining payment for accommodation will be charged at check-out if the total length of stay is less than 7 days.
  • In the case of longer lengths of stay, all costs will be reconciled every 7 days.

 

Amendment of booking

  • All amendment requests (including date changes) are to be sent via email to stay@unitedplaces.com.au
  • All amendment requests must be communicated to United Places 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
  • All amendment requests are subject to room type availability and prevailing prices at the time of the amendment request. There is no guarantee of availability of a particular room type or room price.
  • If the rate which applies to the amended booking is greater than the rate which applied to the original booking, you will be required to pay the difference in full at the time of check out.
  • If the rate which applies to the amended booking is less than the rate which applied to the original booking, United Places will pay the difference in full at the time of check out.

 

Cancellation of booking

  • All cancellation requests are to be sent via email to stay@unitedplaces.com.au
  • To the maximum extent permitted by the law, the 50% deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable, but is transferable as set out below:
    • When a cancellation to a reservation is advised between 15 days and 29 days from the intended arrival date, the deposit is transferable so as to apply to a new booking, provided the new booking falls within 6 months of the date of the original reservation.
    • The new booking is subject to room type availability and prevailing prices at the time of the subsequent booking.
    • There is no guarantee of the availability of previous room type and room price.
  • Notice of cancellation of the reservation over 30 days prior to the arrival date will result in a full refund.
  • Cancellation within 29 to 15 days from the scheduled arrival date will result in a forfeiture of the 50% deposit, if a new booking date within 6 months is not chosen.
  • Any cancellations less than 15 days prior to scheduled arrival date will incur a 100% charge of the full accommodation cost.

 

No Shows

  • Any cancellations less than 15 days prior to scheduled arrival date, including no shows, incur a 100% charge of the full accommodation cost.

 

Ongoing Charges and Extras

  • If the total stay exceeds one week, all outstanding costs will be reconciled every 7 days.

 

Credit Card Authorisation

  • Credit cards will be preauthorised upon check -in t o ensure v alidity and a vailability of sufficient credit t o co ver for incident als and the balance of room cost, if necessary.
  • If a valid credit card cannot be provided, a $400AUD cash deposit per night will be required at check-in and will subsequently be refunded upon check-out.
  • Your credit authorisation or cash deposit may be used to cover incidental items, including costs of any breakages or damage incurred, telephone charges or additional cleaning.

 

Rights of entry and cancellation

  • United Places reserves the right to enter any room at its discretion if it determines at its absolute discretion that it is reasonable to do so.
  • United Places reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time before or after the check-in in the event of any of the following:
    • Abuse towards any staff member.
    • Evidence of possession or consumption of illicit drugs and / or intoxication resulting in inappropriate behaviour immediately prior to or during the stay.
    • Violence, physical aggression and / or abusive behaviour.
    • Damage to property.
    • Payment is not made by the due date.
    • If United Places determines that it is reasonable to do so.

 

Additional person / child policy

  • Children and Infants (below 12 years of age) sharing a suite with parents may do so free of change if using existing beds and linen and not exceeding the maximum occupancy for the given suite type.
  • Rollaway / extra beds are available at $100 per night.
  • Infant beds (cribs) are available free of charge, upon request.

 

Use of information

  • You consent to United Places collecting, using and, if necessary, disclosing your personal information for the purposes of providing you with services associated with your booking.

 

Indemnity

  • You agree to indemnify and hold United Places harmless against any loss, damage, cost, expense, liability, action, claim, judgment or penalty suffered by United Places arising directly or indirectly as a result of or in connection with:
    • a breach of these Terms of Use by you;
    • wilful or reckless damage caused to the room by you;
    • your access to or use of our website; or
    • a breach of Australian and/or International intellectual property laws by you.

 

Severance

  • If any part of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms of Use will continue to apply.
